SUGAR PRICE | चीनी के बढ़ते दाम पर सरकार का बड़ा एक्शन... थोक खरीदारों के लिए स्टॉक लिमिट
त्योहारी सीजन से पहले चीनी की बढ़ती कीमतों ने सरकार की चिंता बढ़ा दी है... खुदरा बाजार में चीनी के दाम रिकॉर्ड स्तर तक पहुंचने के बीच केंद्र सरकार ने स्टॉक लिमिट को और सख्त कर दिया है। नए नियम के तहत 10 मीट्रिक टन से ज्यादा चीनी की मासिक खपत करने वाले थोक उपभोक्ता अब अधिकतम 15 दिन का स्टॉक ही रख सकेंगे। यह व्यवस्था 1 सितंबर से 30 नवंबर 2026 तक लागू रहेगी। सरकार का मकसद जमाखोरी और सट्टेबाजी पर रोक लगाकर बाजार में चीनी की उपलब्धता बनाए रखना और कीमतों को नियंत्रित करना है। त्योहारों के दौरान चीनी की मांग बढ़ने की उम्मीद है।
The Indian government has tightened sugar stockholding limits as retail sugar prices hit record levels ahead of the festive season. Under the new rules, bulk consumers using more than 10 metric tonnes of sugar per month will be allowed to hold only 15 days of inventory. The restriction will remain in force from September 1 to November 30, 2026. The move is aimed at preventing hoarding, speculative stocking and artificial shortages while ensuring adequate sugar supplies in the domestic market. Sugar prices have risen sharply in recent weeks, with festive demand expected to increase from August through November. The government is closely monitoring supply and prices.
